Sky rumbles, windows battered.

Dream reality

Waking from bad dreams

Steeply brain takes it all in.

7am, waking up.

the snow does not melt
seagulls call across rooftops
quiet morning view.

Sparkle

A glint in the eye,

Morning sun on a fall day

Dances on puddles.

Silence

The wide open field,

Where we let it all fester,

Or the gift of space.
